Regular meetings are the second and fourth Mondays of each month (November and December, the second Monday only). Special-called meetings and study sessions are announced as needed, and every meeting is televised.
In plain language
The Board takes a first vote on who the Police Chief and City Recorder answer to (Ordinance No. 1697), a first vote on repealing the "equal funding" rule that ties Sports Council and South Jackson dollars to the Chamber's hotel tax cut (Ordinance No. 1698), and nine resolutions renewing the yearly nonprofit funding. After the meeting, the study session digs into impact fees, school-zone truck restrictions, and our hotel/motel tax.

The Board will also talk funding for the Sports Council, South Jackson and the Chamber in the study session.

A proposal to shorten public-meeting notice from seven days to five failed on a 3–3 tie, and roughly $233,000 in Public Works equipment was approved using ARPA money.
Read the recapMonday's agenda has a first vote on an ordinance setting sex-based eligibility rules for city rec leagues, a second vote on locking in equal funding for the Sports Council, South Jackson and the Chamber, and about $233,000 in Public Works equipment paid for entirely with ARPA grant money.
